Director of Coaching at the English Golf Union since September 2005. My job is to support and develop players, coaches and all other involved staff in making England the leading nation in golf. I am rediculously interested in coaching, personal development and anything that can improve people’s performance. This blog is meant to give an insight into my world and my thinking. Perhaps you won’t get the latest news on this site but you will get my thoughts on them. Guaranteed!

The blog is bound to be in Swenglish as the language is my English and nobody else’s! BUT, I am getting some help with writing the posts on this blog. My Assistant Director of Coaching, Stephen Burnett, will contribute and share his thoughts and experiences from the Wonderful World of Golf and perhaps from life in general. Even though Steve is from Newcastle there is a good chance that his English is a lot better than mine. We hope you will enjoy following our movements!
