For a long time I used to send out a Peter’s Monthly every month. This was a letter with thoughts on life in general and sometimes golf in particular. It went to a very select group of people – you had to be on my mailing list! – that I think are interested in finding out more about what is going on in my mind at the moment or they just need somewhere to steal ideas from. Please note I didn’t say ‘good’ ideas. The disclaimer should probably say that I cannot be held responsible for what following my ideas might do to you. And then again, it probably does as the EGU normally are pretty good at covering their back… After a while I decided to go down the route of keeping a blog. Now, trying to keep this reasonably up to date is not a small ask. Interestingly enough I found that the stuff that I normally would have written about once a month I was now posting on the blog a few times per week. Doing both, blog and Monthly became a bit of a job!

Instead of a Monthly my letter has now gone occasional and nobody knows when it will appear. In the meantime you can stay in the loop by visiting the blog. Please note there is the option to subscribe which means updates are delivered to you directly.

If you would like to get on the mailing list for Peter’s Occasional it is not all that difficult. Send me a note on pmattsson@englishgolfunion.org. You will also find it posted on this blog. Click on the Monthly links to the right to find the back copies of most of my letters. Happy reading!
