Raving Response

A couple of days ago I announced that I posted and sent out my last “Peter’s Monthly”. Never could I dream about the response that I got! It seems that my efforts to catch something, somewhere, bring it into a coaching and/or golf setting and spread it to the distribution list have been rather appreciated by quite a big number. To some extent, I have a feeling that this is about how messages are delivered. I deliberately chose to do a very straight forward email. No fancy logos, no links to click (apart from the tips of interesting further reading) and no websites to visit. I know what I am like. The fancy emails that look like Chinese when they show up as an email on my mobile simply do not get read. The ones that say “click here for the latest…” get no further attention. I do not follow many blogs and don’t even start to talk to me about Facebook and other so called social media. In my world they are more anti social! Send me a simple email with text only and I will read it. Guaranteed!

It is funny that I write that on a blog that I expect you to follow, isn’t it? Well, as my last Monthly is published under that section on the right my promise is that I will take this time out to review my communication as a whole and come up with a fresh new strategy going forward. In the meantime, keep following the blog and don’t hesitate to send me an email every now and then. My attention is a promise – but I have to admit that I am worse with replies!
